Have just finished reading your latest publication – First Aid Guide for Spider Bites and Scorpion Stings and am extremely impressed.

This guide will be a great help in bite or sting emergency situations for all Nature guides or in fact anyone venturing out in to the bush , easy to read and understand with a wealth of knowledge with regard to bites , stings and the emergency first aid procedures that are required by the first responder.

Most probably the best guide on this subject I have come across and will be advising that all our overland guides should have a copy in their First Aid Kits at all times.

As an ill-informed person when it comes to spiders and scorpions, I was put at ease with this First Aid Guide to Spider Bites and Scorpion Stings. It’s very well illustrated, easy to understand and to the point information which has made me a well-informed person for the first time in my life. The pocket size, easy to use guide is also a plus point. Thank you for this excellent booklet.

On behalf of the Ditsong National Museum of Natural History (former Transvaal Museum), I would like to thank you again for such a wonderful evening lecture that you gave at the museum on the 24 April 2012.

The public had been looking forward to this event and you surely didn’t disappoint. The presentation, coupled with your special brand of humour, made it an enjoyable evening for all who attended. The success of the talk was clearly highlighted by the large and diverse crowd that attended. It was actually the first time that we attracted even learners to an evening lecture.

We received a lot of commending letters from the public and they are already enquiring about the possibility of a future lecture on spiders. Please let me know how you feel about this.
