Blake founded Love our Trails in 2015 with a trail clean-up of Platteklip Gorge trail on Table Mountain. Blake initiated the clean-up after noticing the amount of litter as well as graffiti, during a hike with a visiting friend. Love our Trails is building a trail community of like-minded, nature-loving people, with a culture that shares the values of protecting and giving back to our environment and fellow trail users.
Fortunate is a board member of Youth 4 African Wildlife. Non-Profit Organization working with youths to create global conservation ambassadors. His focus is on the awareness and species protection aspects of conservation through experiential research, social media, photography and film. This is packaged in the form of a conservation internship aimed at young adults from all over the world.
Jonathan wrote One World for everyone who considers themselves living in a period of change, who is uncertain about the future, and who wants to make the world a better place! The message of One World has never been more important than it is right now. His eco-Logic nomination was based upon One World and the related presentations, workshops and activities.
